Friend of the Rubicon was established and completed its first project in 2001. Since then, FOTR has maintained those rolling dips and performed countless projects. Including but not limited to:
Clearing trees from the trail
Removing ‘white flowers’ from the trail
Creating rolling dips and water bars to direct water off the trail
Hardening the trail with rock and logs
Building bypasses around sensitive areas
Blocking illegal bypasses
Placing concrete to stabilize the trail
Creating drainages to get water off the trail

Volunteer hours are always documented and can be used as matching funds to OHMVR grants.
