Friends of the Rubicon is a grass roots, volunteer organization. There are no memberships, no regular meetings, no officers or board of directors, just a Trail Boss, an email list and a desire to maintain the Rubicon Trail.
Not all volunteers are created equal. Not all FOTR volunteers can pick up a shovel and move rock. FOTR needs help with paperwork, making sure all the signatures for the waivers are collected. RTF sometimes provides food and will need help packaging lunches. Even before the project is posted, help is needed creating plans, outlines, timelines, communications, posting to Facebook, posting to this website, getting the word out to those not on the FOTR email list.
